Mountain Biking at Crank’n Cycles

and in Collie & Surrounds

Has Collie got some great trails in store for you!

Yep, Collie trails are in the pipeline to expand - and there’s a whole host of keen locals who are behind the move to do so!

Currently we have a great 7km trail called ‘Rays Trail’  that’s on Harris River Road.  This is quite a demanding trail - not ridiculously technical - but continually demanding...  .  The XC boys love it, the enduro boys prefer some of the more open trails around the town (there’s miles and miles of open forrestry trail around Collie).  The most popular trail is ‘Dead Cat’s’  which is a linking trail from Mornington Road to Rays Trail on Harris River Road.  It’s flowing and fun, and sutable for beginners and pro’s alike.  This trail is the beginning of a new trail network the Collie MTB Club is planning in the Arklow Block.

The Collie MTB Club (Part of the Collie Cycle Club) works very closely with DEC (Dept of Environment and Conservation) in planning and maintaining local trails.  We thank them for their support in making Mountain Biking in Collie a reality!

And, not forgetting, our very loyal and hard working volunteers, who are driving the project forwards!

Yep, there are Mountain Bike group rides in Collie.  It’s at your own risk, and rides leave from the front of the Bike Shop ...  just check the ‘Group Rides’ Link up the top of the page!
